Bid-based rostering software for casual shift crews
Publish the work available for your next period. Your crew bids for the named shifts they actually want, from a single link — no app, no login, no password. You allocate, hold a standby pool, and confirm. On the night, attendance and hours run from a phone.
One mechanism, four moving parts
Everything else in Chronomancer is built around these.
Publish, bid, allocate — in that order
A roster starts as work available, not a draft assignment. Open the nights, set which areas and named positions are live, and staff get a private link to bid for exactly what they want. When bidding closes, one board shows every bid against every position, sorted by priority tier and reliability, so you place people with the full picture in front of you.
When someone drops out, the seat refills itself
People self-withdraw, or you mark them ill, unavailable or gone on the night — either way, the vacated seat opens a one-time claim link that blasts to the ranked standby pool. First valid claim wins it; everyone else just sees the seat is filled. The live board updates across every device watching it, so there's no radio-relay guesswork on a busy night.
